Services: Custom Training
Training seminar at FEMA, Washington, DC, 2009.
Training seminar at GLOBE program, Iowa, 1995.
Training takes place where and when you want it: at your business, your conference, or anywhere that you need us to go.
You determine your audience: web developers, researchers, managers or general staff. We will also co-brand presentations for the general public.
You choose how long you want training to last: Two hour, half-day, full-day, or multi-day options are available.
Classroom Training
Select the topic modules that you are interested in, and we’ll build a customized curriculum for you. We offer lecture-style seminars and hands-on workshops. Classroom training can be for a few hours, or it can be a full-day or can run for multiple days. Classroom training is also scalable so that you can have as many people attend as you would like. We also offer a preset one-day or two-day “usability fundamentals” track.
Experiential Learning
Our experiential learning program is a hands-on opportunity for a limited number of your staff to spend several days being intensively mentored by a Lebsontech trainer. For example, a company may want to use this training to start the process of building an in-house user research capability. Experiential learning for selected staff is often tied together with classroom training for a larger number of staff.
Long-Term Mentoring
We assist your staff with user experience projects over several weeks or months. We are also available for consultation on an as-needed basis. The goal of long-term mentoring is to provide your organization with the knowledge you need to have your own in-house user research capabilities.
Train-the-Trainer
If there are team members who already have some knowledge, we can work with them to become trainers for in-house training in the future.
